the end seems near...

is it just me or has anyone else been watching the news lately? in the book of revelation we are warned to be aware of signs of the second coming. it warns of wars (iraq) rumors of wars (iran, isreal/palestine and islamic rhetoric about killing all infedels). it also warns of many unusual natual disasters (earthquakes in japan and elsewhere, hurricanes and floods, tital waves and volcanic action). i am not trying to claim that i am some sort of prognosticator or anything, nor am i trying to scare anyone, but it is something to think about. our would seems to have degraded so far, so quickly that it is really scarry.

i know if Jesus came today, i would not miss any of this world!

I think that there are a lot of people who feel that some sort of apocalypse is upon us. But what if the revelation to come is not of some other world, but of this world, only seen in a new light?

i do think that it will be of this world and it will be simply seen in a new light - Jesus. if we trust the Bible to be true, which is sometimes a very hard concept (see spilt wine and gathering dawn) the return of Jesus is going to be awesome and something we need to be ready for. i am just finding it odd that the world is having so many "natural" disasters, one right after the other. it may be coincidence. it may be my small mind finally paying attention to the world around me. it may be nothing. it is just something i have noticed. thanks for the post.

1 Thessalonians 5:2: for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

There is a natural explanation for the strange weather we have been experiencing, and it's called "climate change due to global warming". If we continue to deplete the ozone, it will only get worse, and when Jesus does show up agian, he's going to need sunscreen.

sunscreen will most certainly be a must!
